Riverside Fish Fry featuring Chuck Mead

Join us for an East Nashville summertime tradition at the Riverside Fish Fry featuring Chuck Mead on Friday, July 18 at 6 PM. This community event brings neighbors together over delicious food, live music, and great company.

Chuck Mead is a country singer with a rock ’n’ roll heart. Best known as a co-founder of the influential alt-country band BR5-49, Chuck has been a driving force in the Americana movement for more than 25 years. With three Grammy nominations, a CMA Award, and 137 Grand Ole Opry appearances, he’s toured the globe and co-produced critically acclaimed tribute albums honoring legends like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He also served as musical director for Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet and the CMT series Sun Records. Don’t miss your chance to see him live in an intimate setting.

Admission is free. Our buffet-style catfish dinner is $20 per person, with kids 10 and under eating for half price. The meal includes Southern Fried Catfish, Hushpuppies, White Beans, Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, Corn on the Cob, Cole Slaw, and Banana Pudding.

Bring the whole family, come hungry, and enjoy a classic Southern fish fry filled with authentic music and the spirit of East Nashville.

Stay tuned for another fish fry announcement later in the summer. We can’t wait to see you there!
